The natural environment of Crete makes it possible to practice very beautiful cycling routes, crossing picturesque roads, mountain villages, plains and hills. A paradise for lovers of the little queen...

The three tours that we offer are organised  from two people, on the date of your choice (between April and November, but we do not recommend the months of July and August ).

 

They are  designed on an base of 8 days/7 nights, but can be adapted.

Circuits N°1 and 2

In 8 days, we invite you to discover either the WEST part of the island or the EAST part.

West circuit:

 

78 kms: Heraklio / Rethymno

71 kms: Rethymno / Xania

62 kms: Xania / Paleochora

52 kms: Paleochora / Plakias

63 kms: Plakias / Matala

67 kms: Matala /Tsoutsouros

81 kms: Tsoutsouros/Heraklio.

Route is:

61 km: Heraklio/Zaros

78 kms: Zaros/Ierapetra

49 km: Ierapetra/Zakros

67 km: Zakros/MoXlos

56 kms: MoXlos/Lassithi Plateau

42 kms: Plateau of Lassithi/Zaros

49 kms: Zaros/Heraklio.

Days 1 and 8 are for transfers to your accommodations. 

Cost of circuits 1 and 2:

€595 per person

including: reception at the airport, accommodation in a double room for 7 nights, breakfast, dinner (water + 1/4 wine), baggage transfer.

Circuit N°3 (practicable from May 20)

Accommodation in RETHYMNO (heart of the island) with star-shaped walks.

61 kms: Rethymno, Astipopoulo, Prines, Gonia, Ag.Andrea, Kalonichtis, Roustika, Mountros, Argyroupoli, Episkopi, Rethymno. A splendid route, crossing perched villages, out of time. Byzantine churches dotted all along the route, and a proposed stop at the Museum of Greek Costume. 

51 kms: Rethymno, Karoti, Episkopi, Argyroupoli, Karoti, Rethymno. An alternative route, which runs along the sea.

31 kms: Rethymno, Gallos, Somatas, Kastelos, Agia Andrea, Gonia, Prines, Astipopoulos, Rethymno. Relatively short, this route crosses a superb forest of oaks, unique in Crete.

31 kms: Rethymno, Gianoudi, Prases, Chromonastiri, Mili, Roussospiti, Agia Irini, Mikra Anogia, Rethymno. An outing that climbs, climbs! :) and which takes you to the freshness.

59 kms: Rethymno, Astipopoulo, Gonia, Prines, Agia Andrea, Kalonictis, Roustika, Moundros, Kali Sika, Agios Ioannis, Angouseliana, Balé, Armeni, Rethymno. A great journey through valleys and mountains.  A huge green landscape, even when it's hot.

47 kms: Rethymno, Platanias, Adele, Pigi, Loutra, Kiriana, Amnatos, Arkadi Monastery, Kavousi, Charkia, Agia Triada, Adele, Rethymno. An extraordinarily varied loop, for lovers of mountain roads. And as a bonus, the visit of the Monastery of Arkadi, emblem of the Cretan resistance.

72 kms x 2 : Top notch! Rethymno, Platanias, Stavromenos, Viran Episcopi, Perama, Mourtzana, Garazo, Axos, Anogia, Zominthos, Plateau de Nida (1600 m altitude).

The following 3 rides are offered from RETHYMNO, by a local guide.  The bikes are electric, so you can adjust their use according to your level and enjoy the splendor of the landscapes.

MYLI GORGES: 22 km by bike, 1.5 km hike, 6 hours: €55, meal included. Walk accessible to all.

ARMENI VALLEY: 44 km by bike, 6 hours, 55 € meal included, + 3 € for the visit of the Monastery of Arkadi. Average level.

The PATSOS GORGES: 35 kms, 6 hours, 65 € meal included. Strong level.
