Whether you are a beginner or an expert, Kristy welcomes you, for a few hours or a few days, in her equestrian center in Kavros (between Xania and Rethymno).
Every day, guided walks are offered by Kristy, and are suitable for all levels.
For beginners, the walk will be done in step. You and your children will be able to explore the region in peace. 30 min: € 15, 2 h: € 40.
Walk between adults, 2 hours, on unpaved paths: 1 hour 25 €, or discovery of Lake Kournas: 2 hours, 40 €
Private walk, 2 participants: 80 € 1 hour, 120 € 2 hour
Swimming with the horses: 2.5 hours, € 60.

Spread over 6 days, with a total of 37 hours of riding.
A detailed road book and very clear driving directions are available for a smooth journey. PLEASE NOTE: this stay is only suitable for advanced level riders, able to take care of a horse on their own.

Example of a riding program (6 days / 7 nights)

Day 1 : Arrival and welcome. Free day. Overnight in Georgioupoli .
Day 2 : Around 10:00 a.m., your horse riding adventure will start mainly with dirt roads and through olive groves, you will go up to the village of Kournas . As you descend to the lake, you will have the opportunity to admire its beauty from a bird's eye view. The turquoise colors and the surrounding mountains guarantee you an absolutely incredible view. This little paradise will be a perfect place for lunch. you can explore the lake by pedal boat and around 3:00 pm you will head to Kastelos. You will pass through the almost abandoned village of Patima, to reach the greenery of the village of Argiroupoli. This village is famous for its springs, its old mills, its lawyers. Here you will spend the night.

Day 3 : At around 8:00 am we will pass through the village of Kato Poros which has been renovated in a traditional style and the fun will continue on shady dirt roads through unspoiled countryside. This beautiful trail will take you to the village of Aghios Vasilios where you will have lunch and enjoy the open panoramic views. After lunch, you will discover a completely different natural environment: the peaceful Kotsifou Gorge and enjoy the splendid views of the Libyan Sea. You will then go towards the village of Plakias where you will spend the night. You will have a long evening to enjoy the sunset and swim in the Libyan Sea.

Day 4 : A day to recharge your batteries!
Around 9:00 a.m., you will follow the coast to Rodakino beach while dreaming gently ...
The sound of the waves will be the song of the day and it will fill you with a feeling of eternity. Lunch and free time at Rodakino Beach. Possibility to swim with your horse! Around 4:00 p.m., you will head a little further east, overlooking the beauty of the nearby gorges towards Laki Beach, where you will spend the night. Here too, the horse can invite you for a swim at sunset ...
( Riding hours : 4, morning (2) and late afternoon (2), long lunch break).
Day 5 : Today you will start to cross the island. From Laki beach you will head north, crossing the valleys to the village of Mirokefala, well known for the beautiful church of Panagia Mirokefala. Lunch nearby. You will spend the day in a calm and natural environment, admiring the purity of nature and the simplicity of life in Cretan villages. You will return to Argiroupoli where you will spend the night.

Day 6 : Another off-road adventure to Episcopi, then further downhill to the beach. A perfect place to swim with the horses if the sea is calm enough. Horses will enjoy their lunch break in the shade while riders will enjoy a delicious lunch at a beach tavern. Relaxing on this sandy beach is next door until it's time to get back in the saddle and end this unforgettable trip with a wonderful sunset on the beach. Overnight in Georgioupoli.

Day 7 : Free time and departure.
Accommodation : 6 nights in a double room, in a studio or a hotel, depending on the route.
Food and drinks are not included.
Daily transfer of your luggage and food for the horses are included.
Flight and transfers : flights are not included. Transfer from Chania Airport or Souda Port to and from the hotel is included.
Heraklion transfers are subject to an excess of 50.- € per person.
